Vanguard Crafting Recipes

Crafting recipes are a list of simple details outlining how to craft the particular item. These details include the recipe type, as well as the tools and ingredients (materials &expendables) required to craft the item.

Each crafting skill begins with a few simple recipes. By successfully crafting items using these recipes your character will gain crafting experience. Advancing your character's crafting skill allows you to become eligible for more crafting recipes to craft newer/better items.

Recipe Types

Each recipe falls into 1 of 3 distinct crafting recipe types which coincide with 1 of 3 crafting station types. These recipe/station types are Refining recipes, Finishing recipes & Assembly recipes. Each recipe type requires unique actions and distinct tools.

Recipe Ingredients

Each recipe specifies a set of required ingredients. These ingredients must all be present for the crafting process to begin. The quality of certain ingredients and components will effect the overall quality of the crafted item. Many beginning recipes call for materials readily available at the crafting centers.

Recipe Tools

Different recipes may call for different tools. Each step of the process will call for a tool capable of performing that phase of the task - Tools required for Finishing recipes will differ from the tools required in Assembly recipes. Keep in mind, the quality of the materials, components, tools and even the crafting station itself can all affect the overall quality of crafted items.
