Although many beginner recipes will supply the materials necessary
to craft the items, most recipes will require that you possess a pre
determined set of ingredients.
Recipe Ingredients
: Raw Materials
The recipe outlines a required set of ingredients such as harvested
textile plants, copper ore or wolf fangs. These ingredients must all
be present for the crafting process to begin.
Recipe Components : Crafted Items
Many recipes will specify components such as copper sheets,
a wooden pole or cloth rags. These components can generally be crafted
and must be present prior to beginning the crafting process.
The quality of your components will affect the overall
quality of the crafted item.
Necessary Fuel Ingredients
Each recipe requires one fuel ingredient. For example an Outfitter
recipe may call for either cleaning solution or corrosive solvents
when treating an animal pelt, Blacksmiths may require flux or coals,
and Artificers may require special wood treatments. Common fuels can
be purchased from crafting supply vendors, although special fuels
are often available as crafting work order rewards.
Special Fuel Ingredients
These are non-standard ingredients that can also be purchased
from the crafting vendor. These ingredients are not required to make
the product but are listed on the recipe list. You can use these
ingredients to perform special actions during the crafting process,
but it is not required to complete an item.
Enhancements & Dusting
Enhancement powders, crystals or magically treated items may be
applied to the crafted item during the crafting process to enhance
the items stats. Enhancements can be used on items crafted for
personal use but are not used in work orders. Enhancement dusts can
be collected from de-constructing items that have +stats.
