Sigil has just released some of the content that wasn’t ready for the early release back in January – 6 new NPC races, 2 new areas, 9 revamped dungeons, a number of new weapons and armor models and more! From the towering Sandgiants to the technologically advanced Xennu, from relit dungeons to revamped adventuring areas – this patch has added enough content to keep adventurers busy for a while

On Tuesday, March 6th 2007, Vanguard Update #1 will go live. It will be a much larger patch than usual as not only will there be new content but a great deal of additional art as well. Update #1 includes:

1. Dozens of new weapon models
2. Six brand new NPC races to battle
3. Two new mid to high level adventuring areas
4. Nine dungeons with revamped art and/or lighting

The guys over at Sigil have released some more great images of the picturesque terrain we’ll see in the upcoming Vanguard MMORPG. There are some very beatiful scenes and some pretty magical looking locations. Definately worth a look.

Buildings will play a more intregal role in this MMORPG thatn they have in past games. Some of the latest revealed screenshots of structures indicate more diverse archetecture styles of the different races.

Vanguard Travel : This gallery has screenshots of the various modes of transportation that are available in the Vanguard MMORPG. In addition to the age old mode of tranportation (walking) Vanguard players will also have the opportunity to obtain mounts (horses or ..?) to ride and even vehicles (boats and ..?) to expedite your travel and expand your gaming experience. Expect to see more screenshots here as additional modes of transportation are revealed by the game designers.

Vanguard Locations : This gallery contains screenshots of some of the many places you’ll find yourself adventuring in in the Vanguard MMORPG. Including massive cities, wide open plains, beaches, mountain regions and more. This will give you a sneak peek at what to expect from your in-game experience.

Vanguard Buildings : Vanguard has a fairly unique gameplay feature that allows you to own and maintain a residence or buisiness in an actual building. Everything with-in the building is yours to arrange, from the furniture to the wall hangings, to the products you may choose to display and sell. This gallery displays a few of the samples Vanguard designers have released.

Vaguard People : A collection of screenshots of some of the characters, NPC and creatures you interact with in the game. See the variety of races, sizes, colors, features available to player characters with-in the game. With 19 races, and hundreds of variations available to each race (hair, eye & skin color, height, girth etc)the variations are limited only to your imagination!
